I finally got my 05 max :)

Well, I just wanted to say thanks for putting up with all my questions here at the forum. You have all been a great help, from choosing the right car, the right price, financing, color, pretty much everything!!! Yesterday I got my Smoke '05 SE with black leather (i tried to get orange but couldnt find it). I also managed to get the 2.0 APR for 60 months (but i had to put up a fight for it, just as many of you guys did here at the forum). In the end, I am happy with the deal i got on the price and financing, and they also threw in 4 years of oil changes. I love my new max and hope it serves me well in the years to come.

AWSOME....real happy for you. Great on the 2.0! and the 4 years of oil changes to boot!! You got a better deal than I did on my 04, plus the color I really wanted. Again, congrats!

Somewhere on this forum they are talking about STS, I wonder if the 05 is actually shorter shifting then the 04?

I haven't seen it, but from what I hear from others on the list, and from my dealer, the '05 shifter is not a Short Throw Shifter. It is shorter than the '04, but still too long.

idnumber1...
Where's your little spoiler? It's hard to tell by the pics but do you have a sun roof, sky view or nothing (hard top)?
Great color (just like mine)...I'm starting to see more Smoke Maximas driving around, I love this color (good thing I wrote to Nissan to bring that color in the color line up...what were they thinking leaving that color out at the beginning of production?)

Best of luck!
