Time to upgrade??

Im starting to want to get rid of the max. I really dont have any reasons other than Im just wanting something different. I happened to be in my dealership a few months ago and saw them working on this 350Z. Everything Nismo... Well I stopped by there today and it's sitting on the lot. I eagerly took it for a test drive and HOLY SH**!!! I cant even describe the power this thing has, they said 370+ HP. Im just kinda nervous about doing it. They said with all the aftermarket engine mods Id have some warranty issues. (And I really love my Max). They ran it on Ebay with no bids.. heres the link. Let me know what you all think

Damn I love that 350, DO IT! I would if I could! I love my Max but if I was able I would. Thinking about getting into a 350 or G35 in the near future as another option for my daily drivings. Not bad for $33k with all the Nismo upgrades either.

Actually I can get into it for a little under 30K. Ive purchased 2 nissans in the last year, and they're really wanting to move this thing. I was thinking about a Harley here for the last few months, a friend of ours won an 05 V-Rod in a drawing and has no use for it, but this might be a little more fun. One little drawback though... my wife's 7 mo. pregnate. Im not so sure a two seater is in my future.

Honestly, that's sad. Keep this up and you'll never be driving anything truly nice if you keep pissing away tons of cash all the time on the steep initial drop of buying new cars and selling them soon after. The 350 won't keep you happy for long either, so you'll want to drop it. And if you're really so well off why don't you buy something better than a Nissan? So, the answer to your question is no! Spend that much on your child's college

Sell the kids to pay for the car. No college worries.

Yeah and while you're at it, unless she's making tons of cash, you might as well get rid of the wife too !

Nice car, but the 370+ HP I would call BS though, if they say it makes that and you want to buy it.....better get a dyno sheet.

Does look nice. Fun to drive I imagine....nice color also. 2003....price is kinda high with a starting bid of 33K. Some Nismo rims, intake, camshaft and flywheel....better check to see the install sheets......than warranty issue from the dealer, would check on that also if it is covered. Just can not see the HP from the cam, headers, and intake being that high. Interior is pretty, seats and Alpine is what they are getting money from also. You can get a new Z cheaper. Got about 10K miles on it also, wonder who had some fun thrashing around in this thing.

I never said I "was so well off..." all I wanted was to see what you all thought of the car. I know the pics dont do it justice but Im tierd of having the max sitting in the garage collecting dust. I drive the max usually once a week, and I just thought Id het something a little more fun for the wife and I. The only reason im considering this is because the payments would be slightly CHEAPER!!

Dude, if you have no kids, would be a great car to enjoy....for the price....EXPENSIVE, than understand insurance will go up. I still thing and swear by the HP claim to be total BS though. Now, if the 350Z had a SC on it, maybe 370 but not at the rear wheels. Hey, you got no kids....have fun. Just too much money for that car. How much did you pay for the Max and how will payments be cheaper though....also figure in insurance.

If the payments are indeed cheaper (not including the much higher insurance), then obviously your payment term will be greatly extended. In any case it's definitely cheaper to keep the max. If the thing only collects dust and you're not made of money perhaps you don't need a $30k car at all. Just an idea Since it's a two seater you can kiss any ideas of going in the car with your wife, since a baby won't fit in it.

Buy the Z-car for yourself and give the Max to the wife - best of both worlds...
