Winter is coming and wondering what is the best tire for the maxima se?

1. Are the Bizzak's the best tire or go with or should I use a studded tire?

2. Also has anyone get a shimmy after changing the stock tires?

3. Did anyone get new rims for the tires or use the stock ones?

1. There is no "best" tire. Everything is a trade off. Your selection of tire will determine traction on ice, traction on snow, speed rating and handling feel, noise, tread life, and of course cost. There are only a handful of winter tires in our size. Check out Tirerack or 1010tires to see what is available. There's no question that the Blizzak tires are a good choice for most people.

2. Hmm thats a good question. Dunno. Changing to winter rims&tyres got rid of mine.

3. Yup. Bought some el'cheapo steel 17's.
