Clear Bra ?

Any feed back or advice on this topic would be much appreciated. If green light, any recommendations for install shops in Milw/Chi market ?

Is it just me or is the "search" feature not working ?

Thanks,
Dave

I had my hood, fender, bumper, mirror etc done. Looks great , no problems, actually easier to clean. I live in the suburbs of chicago. The guy that did mine came to my house and install. He's about an hour from WI, I can give you his number if you want. I'll try posting some pictures.

I agree. My Max came with all of this done from the dealer (it was a dealer swap as my dealer does not seem to offer this as standard). I will have the 3-M Clear Bra on all of my future cars. It is easier to clean (particularly dead bugs).

I am enough of a believer that I refused to drive mine without it. Dealer is taking it to the installer for me today, I will pick up tomorrow. Obviously can't speak to the results yet, but am looking forward to many years of chip free driving.

I wish I would have gotten a bra when I first bought the car a little over a year now.. lots of hood dings and chips. What are the prices on these things again?

Depends on the installers... around here (NY tri-state) they charge around $250 for the front (bumper, fenders, hood and back of the mirrors). There's a couple of threads around with some more details, including pictures.

My friend was kicking himself for not getting it done to his G35... after a year his front looks like crap. I've been putting it off since I picked up the car (5k miles), but I'm sure it won't be long before I get it done.

I think it's one of those things that you'll look at the car and see that it's fine, and not worry about it. But when I look at the front bumper on my other car ('02 picked up at the end of '01), I see that it's definitely something I should be looking into ASAP.
