Made me crack up...up to 5% more HP from this gasket.....LOL....

Wow....now I know there needs to be more mods out for the Max but this is crazy. Someone get this and tell us the results paahleese!!

Well lets start some more options....fugly, over priced body kit...



Hey, I got a cone filter mod....




And to top it off....a fart pipe so it sounds fast....made in Taiwan for quality...



Anyone got any more mods out there?....LOL....

who knows about that plate...some old guys at my work have hotrods...one was telling me he puts some sort of plate, i figure gasket like, between his intake manifold and carb which apparently is for more power..who knows how that works..

I've seen something called a phenolic spacer which makes similar claims. It goes between the upper & lower intakes or intake & block and supposedly keeps the intake from absorbing heat from the block = cooler intake charge.

The one's I've seen though were 1" thick (for my mustang) which seems more likely to be effective. A side effect was that it lengthened the intake runners which changes the torque specs slightly.
