There's a thread in here somewhere that breaks down everything, I looked for a while but didn't find it. Search about 2-3 months back because I do remember it...

For the premium Audio system (i.e. Bose):

There are 1-1/2" tweeters in the doors behind the mirrors, don't bother changing these.

A 6-1/2" speaker in each of the doors (very easy to change).

Two 8" subwoofers attached to brackets on the rear shelf. The brackets allow them to mount the 8" subwoofers into the 6X9 mounting holes in the rear deck. You must remove the Rear Shelf Trim to access the mounting screws.

The Bose Amp is located on the rear deck between the two subwoofers and you need to remove the rear deck trim to get to its mounting screws.

If you have the Bose system you may just want to consider just adding a subwoofer box in the trunk. Lot's of threads here desribing how to do it quite easily.

For the Base Audio system:

Same tweeters behind the mirrors. 6-1/2" speakers in each doors (4 total). And a pair of 6X9 speakers on the rear deck. The amplification is done thru the head unit. I believe that it is supplied by Clarion, but it isn't one of there better systems so they don't advertise the name on it. If this is what you have I would think that you would want to replace everything, including the head unit.

Installing a HU is easy. Just be prepared to put in some time. Get all of the stuff I said to in my previous post. There is a how to guide to take apart the dash to get to the radio.
