Changing headlight bulbs

Hello Everyone...New guy here
heres the deal...i was wondering if by changing the headlight bulbs on the hi/low beam would change the output color of the headlights.
I bought the car and it did not come with the xenon headlights and i want to change it to super white...will it work?
thanks...

This topic has been discussed on the ORG. You need to look back several pages to find the post. However, Don't waste your time replacing the lamp. It's a lot of work and I am 95% sure that any other bulb will have fewer lumens than the stock 9012 lamp. The one option would be to go to the 9011 (high beam version). That lamp offers more lumens, but the color temperature of the lamp will be roughly the same so you won't get a whiter look.

If you really want a white look go with the european 9005 sylvania silverstar. That will have a higher color temp, but will provide fewer lumens than the stock 9012. You will have to modify the socket of the 9005 to fit into our socket. So, it's up to you if you want to do the work for few results.

As I posted before, It's HID or nothing. It's too much work to make it a worthwhile mod. Sorry, I wanted to upgrade too, but the results will not be worth my effort.
