I bought a Clarion SIRCL1 Tuner and sirius antena online. Does anyone know this will work with my head unit? Please help. I'm newbie to SAT.

Don't think so. If you car is pre-wired for sat, the plug in is different.

of course you can. you just have to get the input adapter. you won't beable to use the SAT functions on the headunit, but it will work as an input. look around here to buy one.

good choice with Sirius.

edit: did u buy this as an add-on since clarion made our bose unit? if so then you get a maybe from me.
if it is a stand alone piece (controls, receiver, etc.) to add to any car then it will work.

That's an add on unit for a clarion head unit, NOT a stand alone unit. It might work if you want to go to thr trouble and figure out what all the wires in the maxima connector are for and try and match them to the input on the sat unit. This came up in a previous thread a month or so ago, and it won't work as is. Maybe with some modifications...

yeah! i just opened my Max and see that the plug-in is different. damn! i bought the wrong tuner. anyone know where to get a correct one for a reasonable price?

As far as I know, a plug and play receiver is made by Clarion specifically to work with the stock head units and controls. I think 285 bucks without an antenna is close to the best price you can get if your car is prewired as yours is.
