Fog lights on Maxima SE

This may be a dumb question...but are the fog lights on the Maxima SE suppose to come on or is that only on the higher model SE and SL's? I noticed mines dont and I'm wondering if it's because of the model that I have.

There are no stupid questions....just stupid people.

The main lights have to be on before the fog lights will come on. The fog light switch is located to the inside of the main switch on the left stalk.

I have a 05. I didn't know I ahd fog light until I saw another Max with his on. I thought the smaller slots were my high beams. If you have a 04/05 you have the controls on your light switch...

blakstarz - The fog light switch being integrated into the stalk with other things is sort of confusing until you look at the stalk setup very closely (while stopped, of course).

I realize many folks don't have the time to read thru the very thick driver's manual, but I made myself do it the first week I had the car. There are lots of things in the manual one would not know by just driving the car and eyeballing the controls. Such things as how the proactive headrests move forward instantaneously during a collision, and that, in addition to the airbags, the entire seatbelt assemblies and controls must be completely replaced after an impact/collision activates their computer-controlled deployment.

I would urge every Maxima owner to force himself/herself to read the driver's manual. You may even find goodies you didn't know existed on the car.

Also that holding down the unlock button on the remote will roll down your windows.

those little round lights at the bottom are your turning (signal) lights. put your left blinker on and go to the front of your car, it will be on steady.
