The general consensus seems to be that the Nav screen is too low res to be of use as a tv monitor. You are probably going to have to do some major customizing (i.e., cutting into dash and/or headrests) to get your tv/dvd setup.

I am apparently misinformed about the Nav screen, or am I?

There are modules out there that will allow you to use your NAV screen for video purposes. I don't know of the websites off hand, but if you can search this site, there is some discussion on this 6th gen forum already.

also check out www.generatorlabs.com those setups seem really great and he sells the nonag which eliminates the annoying "I agree" screen. seems superior when used with the PAC interface.

Wow Hit man their stuff looks cool too especially their xzBox Modz. I would like to hook up my xbox like that. Nav Tv still has the best unit for nav video IMO. their service was also very good.
