My SE with new 20% TINT! BANGING!!!

YEAAAAAAAAAAA

Got my windows done today!

I was shocked at how good the car looked not to mention how well they were done! Anyone on Long Island that needs tint go to Creative Auto Sound!

You can find them at 323 Clinton St in Hempstead. This job was first rate!

Now the pics! What do you guys think???

Dude. Someone slapped on a sticker on your back window while you weren't looking. It should be easy to take off if you get to it right away.

I really want to tint the windows on my Silver SE but cant seem to make up my mind on what type of tint to get. Black, reflective, Or the type that fades from black to reflective.....

I feel as if black wouldnt look that great, and reflective would be tooo much silver on the car. I DUNNO!!!!!

Input anyone...?

Thanks guys!

As for the sticker in my back windshield it is not Pac Man Tek Niq!

That is the Virgin Mary. I am not a fan of stickers on my car but that one is a good one. When I was in Brazil last year I saw it on a few cars and bought a bunch. So myself and a friend of mine are the only ones that have it in this country. I will take a pic of it later and post it here.

Thanks!

I still can't believe how the tint makes the car, such a difference!

Ordered the nose mask last week. Going to use it only on my long drive out to Nevada. Lots of trucks so I need some protection from flying debris!

One thing to consider when choosing your tint color is that the trim in between the windows is black.

20% is not legal...

I live in queens. I'm looking for some good tint. Actually, that black to reflective sounds hot. Where can I get that done? I would like to see how it looks before I do anything drastic. The tint is hot, but let me know if you go to queens, bronx or brooklyn and don't get pulled over. Cops have a tint meter.

I would like to see the black to reflective. My alternative is to get blue to match the car.

my previous car was a caddy sts black on black with 20%. never really had a problem with the cops in queens and brooklyn. only staten island.

my max has 35% so i wont have any problems with the law, even though its still illegal

Queenzkid,

Actually in NY now it is Illegal to tint your driver and pax door window at all no matter what the percentage is, you can tint your rear windshield or back doors as dark as you want. I did all my windows, I have a way of getting out of summonses so I don't care. I will not be taking this car into Brookyln or Queens or Manhattan at all probably, I will just grab Mom's Intrepid if I need to go to the city.

As for Creative Auto Sound they only charged me $150 which is good for 7 windows and like I said the job was done well. Their # is 516-292-1170 ask for Martin Gonzalez.

Tek-Niq and CanadianMoFo,

Here is the pic of the sticker in my rear window.

The gold looks so good on my black car!

I just love this tint! Now I can go back to looking at hot chicks in the car next to me without getting caught!

I will check that out. thanks. But not now. It's not good if you do tints in the cold weather. best condition to install tints is 70 F. I'll wait. I've been waiting a year. But i want to see what kind of tints they have: reflective, blue, etc.

So, you have a pba card??? I need to get one.

queenzkid,

You can do tint in the winter. A good heat gun is all you need and then just let it dry by parking in the sun and letting it beat down on the windows. I don't have a PBA card. I have an connection with the right people. I don't speed so I don't get pulled over too much.

DvSMAXXX04,

Why not? Problems with the police?

Do it, it's good in the summer and protects your interior and makes you look so HOTTTT

Thanks! A Black car with dark tint is such a good combo! I have gotten a ton of compliments.

I suggest anyone get it done! Who needs people looking in your car?

Yup pretty much. Va state law requires 35% or higher in the rear windows and I believe its higher than 35% for the driver/pass windows. Cops are A-holes here in Va. Beach about tint! Still thinking about taking a chance once the summer gets closer.

That sucks! You would think the VA Beach police would have something better to do than give you trouble about your tint.

Hope you can do something and not get hassled.

NIKV69,
What color is your interior? I have a black max also and was debating on whether to go 20% or 35%. I dont won't to go too dark with the black interior. If you have black, I think that I could pull 20% also. Your car looks mint man.

Thanks....the next thing I'm gonna do is get the brake pads painted...I'm thinking either gold (if they make high temperature paint that color) or red.

very nice tint. Pa coppers love giving tickets so I'm not goning to do it.
Besides, if a girl looks good enough for me to stare at, I want her to see me. And everyone else that gawks at my ride. I just love the expression when they notice how young I am. I keep the inside very clean and nothing in view. So they can peek in all they want.

So true NismoMax80!

I can't for the life of me understand why cops have to waste their time harassing us for tint. I know basically for the money revenue the tickets generate but enough already!

blakstarz,

You mean the calipers? I want to paint mine too. RED! Would look awesome with a black car!
