It's good because I can wedge in the block heater cord between the teeth. On my Trendz grill there is nowhere to tuck it in, so it flaps around and marks up the paint.

Block heater? I guess my Max will never see one of those (no offense CanadianMoFo)
I like the stick grill as well...for now. We'll if one comes out that I'm into I'd probably make the change...
I'm getting my stock grill replaced next week (peeling) I think I'm going to have it painted silver to match my car. I've seen it done in darker colors but not silver, what do you guys think??

I have a Silver SE and I like the stock grill too. Mine is chrome looking, aren't all the Maxima grills "chrome"?

Jsmith if your grill is peeling, why not get it in the chrome again? Hey and how is that Berk intake working for you? Easy to install?

The stock grill is like black chrome, I was thinking to paint it the same silver as the body color. Edify 11 painted his to match, but his car is dark:

Also, who's to say the stock replacement won't just peel again?

As for the Berk intake, I love it, the install is pretty easy although Bryan from Berk actually installed mine for me...

I love the stock grille. I know it doesn't go as well with some colors, but I like it on my Onyx. I would still get a new OEM one if peeling. So if you want to paint it, you have a new one to paint.

Maybe one day for a change, I'll get a billet one. But I have to proudly display my hamburger.

I don't like the grill on our Maxi's.....looks too much like a Mitsubshi front clip.

My SL was made in May, and I bought it in July. The grille is still absolutely immaculate. But I'm not 'counting my chickens' just yet . . .

This seems the proper place to repeat my oft-posted lament: The '04 OEM grille is a fine fit for the SL, adding to the look of luxury. I like it. The SE, however, should have had a more 'performance' oriented, or sporty looking grille. Just my opinion.
