Heated Seat switch question

Does your heated seats button light up for the low setting (lower orange oval) and light up for HI setting (upper orange) when on? (not that BOTH are on at same time and neither light when off...which is correct)

If I push button in on lower setting (rocker down), it lights up...and works.
If I push button in on higher setting (top rocker down), it lights up lower, but works (hotter setting).

Bad wiring to switch light?

Same on both switches. And when its dark out (easier to notice), you can see the top briefly flickers then the lower light when set to high.

This common with others?

Thanks for your help!

Maximage, My 04 SL was the same way. Both of the Titans I've had are the same and I expect they all use the same switch. The amber light is just to let you know the heaters are on, but the position determines the level of heat. Hope this helps.

The switches have lights on them?
Who knew?
Why?
Do you have to get out of the car to see them?

Yep, those lights are actually helpful to me. I have passengers to seem to always want a warm A$$. So, a quick glance lets me know if it is on or not. I think even the manual suggest not to have it on if the seat is not occupied.

p.s., my experience shows that girls like the warm seat more than guys.. who knew...

I was wondering, now that it is getting cold about the upper and lower setting. In my manual it just says basically 'flip the switch to turn them on' but I was not aware that there was a high and low setting, thanks gang! P.S. the heated stearing wheel is the bomb, never thought I'd need it or the heated seats here in FL, but hey, may as well use it on those cold days.

And yes, the manual says don't leave the heaters on if no one is in the seat, or if you have anything heavy in the seat (which is not a person).
