In all honesty the outer grill shell and top bracket is a direct copy of E&G as they have perfect fitment, the face is exactly like TRENZ which I feel looks much better. my opinion.

Benefits with Our Grill,

Great Fitment*
Easier Install*
Better Price*

As far as the bolts, this will not be an issue on production.

Correct me if im wrong, but the Maxima grills are retailing for $225~

Our Altima Grill retails for $140~, essentially the same product, Jim can attest the finish on the outside is a flawless stainless steel chrome..
Yes the fitment is good and the finish is very good. I assume the grille like E&G Classics is laser cut or water cut? The one thing that was good about this prototype was the protective material you had on the finish came off in one piece with no gummy residue. The E&G Classics grille appeared to be cut with the plastic protectant on it, and therefore was very hard to get off and left a lot of gummy residue. I think the E&G Classics grille I bought was 160 or so, so when StradaUSA comes up with there final design, it will compete well on the market if it goes for 140. Some places are selling the Maxima grilles as high as 300 bucks!

I have a twofold plan: #1 If my career path leads me to a lucrative position early I will keep the max until it is has no trade in value & buy a summer only 911...and if I cant go that route I will most likely trade it in 3 years from now for an E class or 5 series. I drove one 5 series and 3 E's before getting this car.

even a chrome one like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
(same no frame, but w/ logo cutout and hide the support bars)

I like the grill on e-bay, it matches my bottom grill. Later Warren

Even though its a rehash of the others if its built better and is cheaper then I might grab one.

My OEM grill looks like ****. Between the rocks chipping the chrome paint off and the black lettering on the Nissan emblem flaking off I am really starting to hate it. Love the car to death but thats the part that ticks me off the most about it.

The billet grill in the link, not the picture above:
That is the same grill I have and bought if from the same guy. Very sturdy and easy install, if you have a long screwdriver. I can personally vouch for this one.

Although still OEM, I have a new shiny grill, replaced under warranty for "peeling". It felt good to get a nice new set of teeth for the max!!!
I'd say it's worth it if you still have warranty left...

definitely. even if u want to upgrade, you'll have a brand new one for if u ever (for whatever unknown reason) need to sell her or if new grille goes bad.

I am pretty sure this part is covered under the 3year/36k. I had mine replaced last year and I was over 12k.

I had no grille for a week (bc I was painting the OEM, which chipped up and then i got the trenz) and at first I hated it, and than I thought, if it was more finished around the edges, and I even painted the nuts and bolts black on the hood latch. I think I liked the no grille look, in a sorta twisted way.
