Christine's New Shoes
Christine's New Shoes with Pictures
Being my first PA winter with Christine, I was experimenting with the Continental All-Seasons. Several small snows had produced lackluster performance and a distinct fear of the next storm. Being my 6th Maxima, I did what I had done with some of the earlier generations---went to winter treads.
This time was different though for the ABS meant 4 diggers not 2 like some of the predecessors. TireRack.com had the Dunlap Sport M2 tires in my garage in 3 days on Kazera wheels ready to bolt on. Recommended by Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes was all I had to read in the reviews.
We got 6 inches yesterday and I went out on some unplowed hills and did not even spin a wheel. Pretty impressive stuff for a car that sat spinning wheels in my driveway with less than an inch of snow.
