haha..curiousity killed the cat?!!LOL...i do blueprinting...AKA auto CAD./..i make good money becuase my dad has a construction company..very small..but whenever someone nees blueprint of the stores or the house they need to construct..its money for me..i got license for blueprinting from lincoln tech in 1 years got auto cad license preferred..only GED required..than i study for SAT and scored 1320 (perfect on math)hehe..and than i went MIT for summer class for jsut to see what i need to learn...met some good people from MIT and got my architech seal in 1 and half years which normally takes 4 years plus 4 more of after college..now im making around 70~80grand a year..at 19...and i did drop out at 8th grade..not that im proud of being a drop out but to all the people who thought i had no future..now i got better rides and better jobs than most people who talked s hit bout me long ago..school is needed for a better path of life..but if you know your life of path...connection is more important..even if you graduate from cornell,columbia and al lthose private college and hate no connection..guess what??after college you'll be starting at 40 grand a year..same as community college..if you come out from community college and have connection..you'll be making 100 grand easy ...so i think theres a lot more than school out there..education is important with everything else to it..only education is WASTE OF TIME><<IMO..anyway...loving my maxima..much better engine than my 2005 TL..

I'm 24 years old. I work for the Postal Service making a modest income.

I purchased my '04 SL brand new in October of '04. I make monthly payments on the Maxima as well as my '04 Suzuki GSX-R 600. I also have a '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee which is paid for.

Prior to purchasing the Maxima I owned an '04 Dodge SRT-4. I was no stranger to neons as the SRT was the sixth that I had owned. I loved the car to death but I was at a point in my life where I wanted a car that was more mature and refined. After venturing to the Nissan dealership to look at a 350z, I fell in love with the Maxima. After realizing the Maxima would be more practical than the z, I went ahead and traded the SRT in on it. As much as I love the Max, I do miss the SRT. I plan to sell my Jeep after this lovely Pennsylvania winter comes to an end at which point I will concentrate on buying a house. Hopefully not to far down the road I will be able to afford another SRT (in addition to the Max) to serve as a "spirited" weekend cruiser.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The vast majority of Maxima owners are old like me 46- they just don't spend time on the computer reading about surveys.....

If I could have owned a Max like that at 18 I probably would have many more ex's than I do now. I was toting around in a Taurus at 18. Way to go kid. It took me till 31 to get a car this nice.

36. First Maxima in 99 (after a BMW 5 series), traded in the Max for a Mercedes CLK 320 ( in 2000) and then bought a 96 Max as a daily driver in 2001. I then sold the 96 Max in 2003 to a relative. My CLK started giving me trouble at about 62,000 miles, and at 64,000 I decided to trade in my Benz for a 6th generation SE. I mainly bought it because it had plenty of room so I didn't get too many options. I've gotten used to going from German to Japanese to German again. I hope I didn't confuse anyone.

Well, I'm 27...I install car stereo/alarms for a living. I've had my own shop twice...right now I work for a shop until I get more funds to do the store thing all over again. This time by myself...NO more partners for me. I also just started an ebay thing. I'm also a realtor. I'm also engaged and I'm looking for a condo to buy soon. I just hustle to make my money...

Perhaps Nissan would release age demographic data. You can be certain that such information is central to marketing and product development. Anyone out there have the inside track with NIssan to access/procure this information?

44. Between my husband and myself we have owned 7 Nissans. '71 240 Z, '85 4x4 truck SE, '84 300ZX, '89 Pathfinder, '94 Quest, '02 Xterra, and now my '04 Maxima SE (purchased in that order). The only ones purchased brand new was the Xterra and the Max. My altimate choice in new cars would have been the 350 but I'm still carting around kids and needed a back seat. The Max was the next best thing.

In my area I see mostly people my age driving the new Max. It wasn't very popular last year but now I see a ton of them on the road. I have the Trenze grill and was the only one for a little while but I've seen a couple of Max's that have been modified. I actually saw an Altima with a Trenze grill.

Untill a few years ago, I've always been a classic car type guy and have always had 1 or 2 old car or truck either on the road restored or one in progress as well as whatever late model pickup as a daily driver. I finally got away from the old cars not having much time to do the work anymore and got my 02 mustang gt, then a year later getting a new truck again also. Now I've taken a step up trading the mustang for the 04 Maxima. This is the first import much less Nissan or Maxima I have owned. I love it thus far. Even 3 years later since the time I got the mustang, I still miss not having anything to tear into and build up, so hopefully I'll still be able to do my own maintenance and my own repairs once the warranty is up at least, to give me something to do. I keep a $250mil heavily electronic aircraft fixed and flying for living, so the complexity of these newer cars with lots of toys doesnt scare me, but possibly needing special or even car specific equipment does.

Just bought a 2005 SL yesterday, waiting for delivery now. This is my 2nd New Max.

First was a 2001 SE that I bought when I was 27.

No that means home boy saved a lot of money throughout highschool and graduated college a year early with a mba in accounting ... all while working 30+ hours a week playing highschool football/baseball and collegate baseball. I had to reward myself for bustin my A** the past 7 years

and im only 21
