Is the only Power Outlet / Cig Lighter (in the 2004 SE) deep down in the center console? I want to get a radar detector but how will I be able to plug it in? Anybody have any advice? Thanks in advance!!

 

You can normally tap into it behind your dash, it shouldnt be that hard once you figure out where the wires are.

 

there is another one at the passenger side. look to the right of the radio and you will find a door with another outlet in it...

 

I believe some people have tapped in at the overhead light/sunglass holder. Alternately you could run a small 16-18ga wire along the edge of the headliner, behind the dash and to the 12V power outlet in the passenger side center console.

 

I wondered what that little door was for.

Does anyone know if it is okay to leave something like a cell phone charger plugged in indefinetly?

 

nothing it works on the ignition switch. when the car is off the outlet is off as well...
