how much you pay monthly

The reason I am asking is that different people need different payments. I personally pay 583 a month but i have 18" HELO Diamonds and tint and 100,000 service agreement gold preffered. I drive an 04 SL. sticker price 31,200. I was curious If you think I am a retard just say it. Or if the thread is lame

I initially was paying 492 a month at 14.99% interest (yeah freaking NUTS...but my credit was bad) finally i refinanced with HSBC for 8% (still high, but an improvement over 14.99) So now i pay 432.00.

I pay 188.00 a month I traded in a Mitsu Eclipse and put some down.
It's a 60 month loan but I'll start making double payments soon and knock it off early.

your payments seem reasonable, but as to you being a retard? guess you have to post more for me to determine that j/k.

thread would be a bit better if some variables are mentioned so the base SE that pays like $400/month doesn't make the SL Elite owner w/ $0 down cry and pull his hair out for paying like $650. oh and if it wasn't a repost...

okay so i pay $516. 1.9% 60 mo: SE w/ everything but NAVI, SAT, VDC, or Elite. I put $2k down and paid the warranty extention up front.

so i watch my savings just start to grow and on the 19th I'm broke again oh well, only 53 more payments.... but it's so worth it.

Okay, so to make my payments of $507 a little more clear: I have an 04 SE 5sp Auto with Sensory package, sunroof, splash guards, mats, lifetime oil changes and extended warranty. I put $2000 down and have a rate of 6.99% for 72 months.

mine is SL with sensory package, spoiler, mats, mudguards. I wanted to get the one with Navi and DPP but there was none in the dealership i went to and I needed the car that same day that I looked, so I had no choice. but I like my car, and the dealership is nice, so no regrets here.

I traded in a 2003 Toyota Camry with 12k miles which was paid for and put down a few thousand as well Ended up financing about $9500.00 at 60 months. I just got my payment book in the mail today and the 1st payment is due at the end of the month but I will be sending an extra $2000.00 to add to the $190.00 1st payment and if things keep going well, I plan to have it paid off by December this year.

It is just driving my nuts knowing I have a car payment again, I haven't had a car payment at all on the last three cars I have owned and I had gotten used to not owing anything. That was the reason I originally went in looking at the Altima's but I did not like them at all once I test drove it so I ended up buying the Maxima after I test drove that and fell in love.

$505.53 a month on the '04 SL, 2% 60 month, no $ down.

Also, insurance went down to $98/month for full coverage when my policy renewed (just turned 25 in November). It was $153/month.

This post is fascinating. I am paying $592 with 2k down at 4% for 60 months. I feel I got a good deal. The dealership was trying to close me on Saturday night and I waited until Tuesday when I got rates from my credit union. They immediately dropped my rate from 17.5% to 4%... I am 26 and was dressed really casually.

I am curious to see how old people are on here that are putting down $10,000 and/or what they do to afford that. I am a school teacher, so presently I couldn't afford to put that much down. Overall, we are pretty close in payment. Happy driving!

IMHO, why would you put any significant amount down? There are plenty of other better ways for your money to "make" money, rather than putting it into a vehicle that is just going to depreciate. I'd rather invest my money in real estate, or other investment avenues, and pay a bit more each month. But that's just me!

I'm an interface designer at EA Sports. I sold a 4Runner for 8k and dropped in 4k from savings. I didn't want to pay more than $300 a month for anything because I just got a house and it would be to tight monthly to pay more. I got the payments right were I wanted them.

I suppose people put it down because the way the economy and stock market is now, it is better to have saved the average 5% & higher interest on a car loan. It is hard to make $ off of your $ nowadays. My bank is paying .625% on it in my savaings accoint so thats why I put as much down as I did.

I pay way too much, went in with a BMW 328 convert....upside down on the trade....let's just say.....my car is a house on wheels, as far as the payments are concerned. Still happy with it though, even though this is a total bone dry option SE. I still like the black cloth interior though. Do not miss the Bose.....only the HID and NAVI, never want leather again.

I did pay 1500 down and did not qualify for the lowest Nissan intrest. Thinking about refinancing now through USAA.

I put 10,000 down and pay 461 a month for 36 months with a 3.9% interest rate...(It's under my parents' credit and name but I pay it )

Also I only paid $100 more for the 2003 instead of the 2002.

I used to be in the classroom (taught for about ten years). I'm doing something else now. When I was teaching I never would have dreamed of getting a car that costs about 30K. More power to you!

I purchased a 2005 SL with everything except the elite package, the DVD navigation system, and the XM/Sirius radio hardware. I put very little down. My loan is for 60 months at 2% interest. With the GAP insurance it comes to about 540 per month. I'm trying to send in about $700 per month so that I can get it paid off in 48 months.
