max is so fast

Just had to get this out. I drive a 95 SE, and i drove my dad's 04 SL today, and on the way home i floored it. I thought my face was melting. I had no idea that 265 horsepower felt like that. Wow. I envy all of you

No need to envy them. Just do like me. Swap a VQ35 in your 95.

I went from a 95 SE to an 04 SL. I know what the difference felt like. I fell in love right away. I used to think my 95 had some zip until I jumped into this thing. Pretty nice for a four door.

I think the motor is putting down more than 265 hp, as in, there is more than a 10 hp difference between 5.5 and 6th gens, since 6th gens are just as fast as 5.5, but weight 220-250 pounds more. They're a little underrated, specially the torque (255 ft-lbs at the crank my @ss, stock '02 Altimas put down 260 at the crank).

6th gens aren't underated - I had mine dyno tested with mods (Stillen Hi Flow Intake and Greddy SPII) and was only putting down 217hp to the wheels and 229 torque. Injen's website results show 215hp to the wheels and 221 torque.

Nissan advertises 265hp straight from the engine. They dont factor in all the extra chit Gonna have mine redyno'd soon since I just added a Unorthodox Racing Pulley and it seems to have added the most zip for the money IMO.
