You spilled gasoline on the interior of your Max?

Please read the posts about being **** and don't not bring flammable liquids near your Max's interior anymore!

You have to be more careful, I hoped you cleaned it all off, that could definately destroy the leather.

Gasoline will definitely suck the oils out of the leather. I'd sure put some leather conditioner on it asap.

clean, then seal?

You may want to speak with someone who works with leather (like a saddle shop or the like) to get an opinion regarding how best to clean the leather. If it didn't soak in much, you might not be too badly off. If it did soak in, I would be hesitant to condition the leather right away if such conditioner, in addition to cleaning the leather, serves to seal it too. I would want to make sure the leather is as free of the gasoline as possible before sealing it with said conditioner.

Too bad about your spill. I hope you are able to get the interior back to where it is comfortable for you.
