Goodyear tires

If you have a '04 Max check the tires for cracks. I just had a oil change down here in Florida and the service adviser showed me the cracks, they were really bad. Also I brought a new tire last month and it started to have cracks. They sent me to a Goodyear shop, The Manager called the main office and spoke to a rep. I am getting 4 new tires for 250.00 total. The new tires are made better they say. I will see what happens. I feel I should have not paid for anything but I will work on that when I get back to New York Later Ramberg

I had the same problem with the RSA's on my 04 SE. I noticed the cracks at
4,500 miles on three tires. I didn't even contact the dealer. i went straight to the local goodyear store. i spoke with the manager, and he inspected them. He called Goodyear, and they replaced all 4 at no cost to me.

I do not know how many miles you had on your tires, but if it wasn't very many, I would contact Goodyear corporate directly and complain.

By the way, I noticed alot of threads stating dislike for the RSA's. I wasn't very pleased with the original set, but I love the replacement set. They really stick to the road

They told me if it was reported within the first year it would be free and after that it would be prorated. Right now I will pay because I have to drive back to New York tomorrow, when I get back I will try to get the money back. The dealer at the Goodyear shop told me the newer tires are made better. Time will tell. Later Warren
