Concept 6th Gen Pics

Does anyone have concept pics of the 6th gen, or any other Maxima's? Just wondering what they wanted it to look like.

eLMo, how are you doing? Check the photo shop sticky and see what some of the members did with their rides. Later Warren

I love that color Ramberg. Is that smoke? I wanted to check that color out on a 2005 and they didn't have one in stock.

I think what he means by "concept" pictures is, are there any pictures available of what Nissan was coming up with before they went into production on the new 6th gen? What other "looks" were they going for, what did they have on the drawing table, what might the 6th gen have looked like had they chosen another design, etc.

Not what someone on this board would want it to look like, but rather what other ideas and designs Nissan came up with.

there were no concept pics. it was a huge secret. I remember trying very hard to get spy pics of the 04. concept cars are usually new potential models, not simply new generations.

The guys at freshalloy had spy photos as early as mid-2002 IIRC... and the car basically looked the same as it does now. Car & Driver had a test drive of a 6th gen in 2003 and they said it was basically identical to the concept (I think an inch less headroom or something like that). So it's safe to say that whatever was actually BUILT, looked pretty close to what we're driving today.

As far as drawings and clay models, that's another story... I remember seeing the Z concept didn't look almost anything like the production car...
