Me too

Well count me amongst the members with the strut issue. I went in for an oil change today figuring that my right side suspension didn't sound right. Sure enough I need a new strut which they don't have in stock. The service guy was real helpful so I didn't make a big stink about it. One thing I have to say is the members on this forum have been real helpful on keepin' everyone informed on this issue. Thanks.

Sorry to here about your ride.

I know the strut topic has come up many times in the past, and I see you have a 05, but I thought Nissan fixed the struts on the 05’s. How long have you had your Max and how many miles you got, if you don’t mind me asking that is. Do you have any other mods?

information taken from the web:

"Here's what I've been told: sharply push down on a corner of the car (say, the rear left on the trunk lid). The car should go down during the push, and cleanly return to its original position. This means you're good. However, If the car bounces (that is, the spring compresses again), you have bad struts."
