boone, lovin it!
I orginally got the black one, and when I went to pick it up there was a huge scratch on it, they said they would fix that right up but I was a lil shaky on gettin the black one after i seen that. So I got the second best, Liquid Silver! Im joining the 20" club as soon as I move to Florida, although those 22" are real bad *** lookin'.
I can't lie eigther. I went for a smoke first, didn't have it.. so I said black, the only one they had was a 05 with the chrome 18'' 5 spoke. didn't like the rims.. so I saw this silver one with the options I wanted and stuck with it, no regrets...
Thanks guys. I appreciate the compliments. I can easily see the appeal of other colors since they are easier to keep up but I just had to go ahead and get the onyx since black is my favorite color. I'm saving to get it dropped next. After that, I'll probably throw in a Basslink. Once that's done it is on to the performance mods. Modding these cars is just addictive.
I HAD a choice, and I went with Winter Frost.
Ive had black before, and it drove me nuts trying to keep clean, and noticing the scratches and swirls. I tried to keep it nice, but maybe I failed.
My Pathfinder I traded in was silver, love that color, but couldnt do it again.
To me, white cars bring out the nice lines in nice cars. Not ALL cars, but it shows the terrific curves and lines of the Max.
Maybe im just biased from my dads white 69 Stingray, damn him for selling that!!!!

I wasnt going for black at first, knowing how much of a pain in the *** it is to take care of. Almost got the Red Opulance but something pointed me in the direction of the beautiful Onyx Max sitting a few cars down from the Red!
Its tough but I keep her clean!
As much as I hate the maintenance on my super black 5th gen, the Onyx is an favorable option ar this point. Nissan paint sucks, but damn nothing shines so beautiful as a clean, waxed black max....day and night
going into the dealer i was hoping for a black max. walked out with a silver one instead. i go back to the dealer a couple of days later and what do i see in same spot where my silver max was? a black 04 max.
no remorse though. im diggin my liquid silver now. now that i see the advantage of going longer between washes.

This is my second black car and by choice. Yes they can be a pain, however when detailed she is beautiful! When the car was being prep'd, the mechanics at the dealer asked "Are you sure you want a black car?". Oh ya I do! Thought about the opulence red for a little while (picture looked good in the brochure), however the picture of a detailed black car with tinted windows (and no chrome around the windows to destroy the look) danced in my head. Luv your cars Boone and Blaxima (hmm black wheels, looks good).
