Yes my car takes a beating, the front end is gettin repainted on Monday, so I figured I'd throw a new grille on but nope not yet. Stinks. I polished the Trenz, but its still beat up. My front end does look terrible up close. 30k in 1 year, 112 miles a day on interstate 95. Oh well.
They havent responded to my email yet either. stinks.

It would be pretty hard to tell without taking the stock grille off and test fitting agianst the tabs.

I took it all off, I had no clue, wasnt obvious at all. I ended up cleaning the engine and bumper and polishing the trenz while i was at it. Stinks that I havent heard from the place I ordered yet either. I'll wait till Monday to hear back, then I'll dispute the charge.

I dropped my car off this morning to have my bumper and hood repainted... THey told me I am going to need to wait 4 weeks before I can throw the 3m clear bra on. Man this is gonna stink trying to avoid nicks for 4 WEEKS!!! Not sure I will be able to do it. Anyways, I havent heard from the place I purchased my grille. how shady this was.

That looks like an Altima grill to me. My billet mounts totally different. Mine has 2 mounts on each side, not the top and bottom. Send it back, make them reinberse you for shipping and send the correct one.

My grill is looking horrible as well, ordered one from Ebay a few months ago and Blaximax is a witness, it had to drilled in!!! So I sold it, but still can't decide which one looks the best and is easiest to install.

I think you guys are getting the crappy one, I got mine on Ebay from prostreetlighting. Was about $160 bucks. Perfect fit and finish. Only 4 screws to mount. No problems at all with mine. Now, the lower grill I got for like 35 bucks from a different seller. I could tell it was lower quality right when I opened the box. Harder than HELL to get that thing on there as well.

Yep......the lower grill I got was from that grill4u seller. Pretty low quality. Would not want anyone to get the upper grill from them. Just my 2 cents. For the lower one....guess it is OK though for the price.

Seems to be a pattern here... the cheap stuff off EBay, vs happy campers off Stillen, et al...

Buyer beware.

I did very good with the upper one off Ebay. The lower one was OK for the money. Stillen charges insane amounts of $$$$ for things. Happy with the bucks I saved. Buyer beware though like you said. Actually, I do not think Stillen makes the grills, just has them produced and markets them.....at an inflated price. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I hear ya... but I also didn't like the quality of the trenz, no problem getting it replaced a couple days later with a better (different) one via Stillen, made me happy. That's worth a few bucks..no? There's a lot more to buying parts than just the sales price. If I was modding a Chevette, ya, EBAY would be for me.

Normally, billet comes just straight as polished. You can paint it though but I know of no one who offers it painted. Easy to paint yourself though with some fine grit sandpaper, primer, coat it with duplicolor, then clear coat it.

That's the one I got, nice quality/fit.
Oh and I got myself confused with the price I paid and what the wife thinks I paid

I can't wait to get the max from the shop, lower black trim painted body color finally! They are sanding it, 3 stage painting it for $120 (yeah, that's the real price ) Big props out to those that decided to paint that piece, looks great.. glad I saw your Max's.
