iPod connection device

I got an email today from Grubbs that had a link to this:

http://www.monstercable.com/icruze/c...p2_Results.asp

I know it's pretty expensive, but I thought it was cool that there is a new way to connect an iPod (for those of us with sat).... but I think you lose the changer .

also, here is another one (a little less expensive):

I guess these have been around a while, but maybe I just missed them? Grubb's said that the iCruze will ship sometime in May, and that' it's for all 98-05 Nissan and Inifiti autos.

It only shows through 2003 for the Maxima (and most other Nissan's except the Z)
I clicked on another year and for $350 ($450 with display) I'd just go here:

Plus $60 or so for the dash kit and you get the whole package plus a new HU.
Or the Apple version (not available yet for Nissan) is I think only like $150 installed, at least that's how much the original BMW version is going for.

There's a lot of options out there just wanted to shed some more light on the subject...

I'd like to install it but I have to loose the SAT or change the head unit. I have the BOSE and it's ok for what I need it for. I have to keep any mods hidden cuz I'm in some parts stealin neighborhoods alot.

I personally listen to music mostly in my car and want it to sound as good as possible. The FM mod tends to sound like crap in my opinion...but I also understand that everybody doesn't have a $$$ tree in their yard either!!!

Yeah, you can get a tape adapter, but again they don't sound as good as line inputs (although worlds better than an FM modulator). I guess I was trying to find options out there for ipod connectivty/line inputs for those of us who have sat radio (and can't use the other, cheaper line input device). Plus, you retain FULL control of the ipod through the steering wheel.
