Speakers and warranty

Have a couple small things my '04 is goin in for soon but it developed a new problem I noticed this morning. The driver side front door speaker on the bottom works in and out. I thought my hearing was going on the left side ontil I adjusted the balance and heard it cutting in and out. Will they fix this under the 3/36? Anyone ever have any issues with this. Please don't say buy new speakers either, I am not in the in the financial market for that. Thanks

I only ask questions here because my dealership always says, we'd really have to look at it. They are extremely annoying over the phone. I'll be having them replace my steering wheel as well since some of the fine tie threads seems to be spliiting like they were cut thanks for the info guys

If your dealer seems to be taking an adversarial or even cool tone with you, I can certainly understand why you would want to post your question/situation here first. We would all feel more comfortable and confident armed with the best information we could get in dealing with a dealership that might seem hesitant or even reluctant to appropriately assist us.

Well I never thought I would agree with a Stealership , however in order to properly diagnose a problem and physically fix it, one must look at it (in your case, listen to it). Regardless, it absolutely, positively should be covered under warranty.

just started today with the radio on. It almost seems like the highs in the midrange are not there but I dunno. I'll check it again tonight or over the weekend when I get the chance.

I had issue w/ my 01 Pathfinder cd changer, the stealership said that audio is only covered for 1yr/12k miles. My Patty was over in both, but enough bishing and complaining from a repeat and multiple Nissan buyer, they said there's a TSB to replace the unit!!!??? They order the part and few weeks later, they changed it.

Is the waranty for the audio really 1yr/12k miles? Never had any other audio isuues w/ any other Nissan I owned.

I've had this problem for a while now. Taking the car next week to the dealership so they can look at several things on this car that it's doing what it's not suppose to be doing.

I had the same thing happen in my car. Only the drivers side would cut out with the CD player going. With the radio it worked fine.

The fix is a new changer. It takes about an hour to pull and re-install a new one. Should be covered under warranty for sure.

Yes. And yes they are. Time to put in an aftermarket system.

I'm glad we are talking about speakers... my subwoofer in the back just stopped working yesterday. I needed to get another one but am not sure of the size or what I need. Someone told me to just get a 4-channel amp and replace all the speakers but I'm not an audiowiz.... any help???
