I guess I'm confusing brightness. They do seem bright, but I guess its because all the LEDs are clustered together, so it shinning as a whole bulb. I would like to know if will you see the seperation in lights. (Thats what I truly want) kinda the look of the rear lights of the g35, you can see the leds shinning and since the leds are pretty big, you can see them light up seperatly.

since this is the size of a 1157 bulb, it will be hard to notice the seperation of LEDs.

I don't think you'll ever get that from this application, the way the lens is designed you won't ever see the actual bulb, just the light it puts out. Now if you made something like the brake light on a school bus and mounted it right up against the back of the lens, that would probably work, but that's a major custom job.

Well guys I dont think the bulb thing will ever work out unless we prepay for him to design and make the bulbs. I've been fighting with him to send me a set for free to test them up with no luck. On a side note...I'm getting another headlight to toy around with. I'll try and do a writeup of how to remove the amber strip over the next few weeks. I'll keep you guys updated on any changes with the bulbs.

What's with the deposits, I thought he make all his bulbs. Is he just a wholesaler/retailer?

I think your friend lost out. He should design it and make a set with his own money and try it out on your ride. If it works alot of members might buy it. I won't spend money unless I see the final product. Warren

^^ I totally agree. If he isn't willing to put his own time/money into developing a product that he KNOWS will sell then its not worth our money buying it. I'm not putting my $$ into his research and development.

I'll second that, some times you have to spend a little money to make a lot, it isn't the 20 bucks, if they are good, he needs to develop a set, get a 6th Gen to fit test and post pictures, if successful, then we will buy. I don't go to the supermarket and leave a deposit for milk hoping the cow will produce...

NO MILK ,NO MONEY…
