The secret is out. New Mod.

Awhile back blackpaladin67 from down under showed his rear window spoiler and said he send one to a member here in the states. I am the member. With some changes from Cory at Redlinemax.com and Chris(chernmax) who also did some changes and did the install. Here are some pictures. Warren

i thought the sunroof deflector was an old idea? a few had it at the NJ meet.
I've been hopinf for someone to incorporate a SAT antenna into one to make it completely stealth. Mine is hidden on my 3rd brake light.

My buddy from Australia sent it to me to see if it would fit. A few changes were made and this is the final result. It was a pain to get it here. I think some one here in the States might decide to make them here. I don't know for sure but if they do, I will post the information. Thanks for the comment Warren

This was made for the Nissan in Australia. I was lucky that it was sent to me. If ppl used them for the rear window thats cool. This item was made for the rear window. This was secret for another reason. You didn't know it was a secret because you didn't read the treat that blackpaladin67 started last month. I am not going back and forth on this. Later Warren

i read the thread. it just looked like the deflector. so how much is it? sarona already makes one for our Max but is overpriced.

It was 135 dollars shipped. I don't think he will send anymore. As per reply 6 someone here in the states might make them. Later Warren

It would look good on an Onyx Maxima.

OT: Blaxima, haven't seen you post in a while. How are those summer mods you had planned coming? Also, will you be coming to the BBQ / meet next month in Petersburg?

The Sarona looks infinitly better, and its worth the cost if you must have it when you are slapping it on a $30,000 car IMO. It looks way to.....VentVisor for me.

Rear Window Spoiler/ Sun Visor

Well I think it looks great.... as I PM Warren earlier we mount them slightly different.

The Part is sold here by Nissan as a Rear Window Spoiler/ Sun Visor...

Warren , did you get any wind noise from it with your fitting ?

I have seen the Sarona, and not only is it overpriced, it really has not justifiable use since it's so small, at least this looks like a real rear window visor and overall looks great.. Think outside the bun baby...

Nice to see progress made, but idk, i think it looks out of place. Not really classy. If someone were to make one similar to the sarona one but at a better price i'd hop all over that. This one idk, i guess i'd have to see it in person to get a better idea.

For me, the Sarona is too small (why bother putting it on for $300 if you can't even tell that its there?) and Ramberg's spoiler is too wide. Ramberg's would look better if it was attached directly to the glass, not hiding the chrome window trim. It still looks good, but not quite it for me. Can we find a happy medium?

This spoiler was made for the Nissan down under. We had to do a few changes to make it work. One was putting it on the roof. Sometimes you have to go out of the box. Thanks for your comments. Warren

I'm not feelin' it at all. I dont see why anyone would want to put that on their car. What purpose does it serve other than a piece of plastic sticking out like a soar thumb? Just another rice mod if you ask me. Not trying to be an a$$, Just my opinion...

Yep, leaving 7 Sept for Iceland. Family is staying with the Max behind. Also, do not worry about the comments. Hell, some of the opinions come from people that do not even own 6th gens.....

I think it looks pretty darn good. My preference would be to paint it too. But if there are smoke coloured vent visors on the car already than leaving it as is would match them better.

Good on ya for coming up with a new mod.
