Dyno done on dynojet while in Florida

I had to do pdf because of my granddaughters PC down here in Florida. I promised to a few people that I would do it on a dynojet. These are the results. I was told these were good numbers despite the heat. It was hot as hell down here when I had it done. I will have a new dyno done in Oct. in NYC when the temp. is cooler. This is a question for the members. If the whp is 221 what is the hp at the crank? Thanks in advance Warren

221x 18%= 260............. 221x 23%= 271

you have to take the 23% off the crank not add 23% to the wheels.
Warren, you should post your mods so people know this insn't stock.

so it is about 288hp at the crank Warren.... my math was way off...

265 x (100% - 23%) = 204 whp
Working back the other way:
204 / (100% - 23%) = 265 chp
So in Warren's case:
221 / (100% - 23%) = 287 chp
He has the 5AT, which IIRC noone has the calculated loss figure for (IE, nissan has not released that info yet). I suspect, however it should be just about the same as the 4at.
and the correct way to derive crank #s from wheel #s is to divide by 1-%loss...so 207/.77 = 268.83chp

the math has to equal 221... so its 288- 23%= 221hp..
PS: warren, can you email me the runfiles e55amg2@gmail.com

my algebra is rusty so that's how I did it Tek. I tried the right way how E55 just showed and gave up when my head started to hurt
221/.77=287
So if we get a 5AT dynoed and it's close to oem spec #s then with his above mods he gained 22 hp crank.
I so wished the RedlineMax meet would of had a dyno like originally planned. but w/ 130 maximas, we would have been there all weekend.

and on the graph 221 is written?
I'd get mine dynoed, but I'm awaiting my JDM nismo hood banner from Japan. It adds 35 to the wheels!

bah, i mistyped it should have read
WHP -> CHP = 221/.77
CHP -> WHP = XXX *1-drivetrain loss %

well if all goes according to plan and fixes my screwed up a/f ratio like i think it will then i should be close to 300 crank horses.

[QUOTE=SR20DEN]Do you by any chance have the real dynojet run files?
The above are the slips that the tech gave me. So I don't know what you are talking about.
Also, I noticed you only reved to 6200
I quess the tech didn't want to run it higher because of the weather.
