Painting Brake Housings

Hi All,

Just thinking of painting my brake housings red to go with me Black car and was quoted like $500-600 to get it done which seems over the top.

Can anyone tell me the following :

1. How much you paid to get it done?
2.Can it be done on car of do you need to remove the calipers ?
3.Does the ABS require resetting afterwards?

Thanks in anticipation of your responces

several past threads on this...

several hours work, several cans of spray paint, lots of masking tape and newspaper, ZERO cost, ZERO mechanical expertise required (leave calipers in place).
