i find it very interesting, the critics i.e. magazine testers etc who don't own Nissan's seem to bash them for bad interiors, not so Toyota quality etc, yet the people who buy these vehicles apparently disagree and are highly satisfied... But thanks for the response, just trying to get a range of owner's opinions!! Nissan is ranked higher than Infiniti, IMO that is quite stunning...

I am not surprised given the lecture I got about the survey at the point of sale. I was "made aware" of it by at least 4 people in the process of purchasing my Max. I was told that if I wasn't happy with something to go to the sales manager and let him "fix it" before I sent in the survey form. I was offered two free oil changes in exchange for a good survey. I said **** on the oil changes you get what you get. I won't even take the car back to the dealership I bought it at for service.

^^your experience is sadly seen elsewhere as well. but I don't think those surveys are looked at for this one since it's non-bias. our Nissan surveys are between Nissan and the dealers. Nissan wants to see your complaints, the dealers don't.

We have to remember that they are 2 separate entities.

remember the 04 did not do at all well due to interior scratches and shimmy mostly. nothing has changed since then with the Nissan surveys.

Same here, They don't want you to fill out bad surveys. They'd rather bribe you than have bad reviews. Thet did the same thing with my buddy who bought a Titan.

But I love my max except for the paper thin paint on the back bumpers

The Nissan survey we fill out shortly after purchasing/leasing our vehicle plays only a small part in this rating. Drivers are asked to rate their satisfaction with their vehicle in 45 different areas such as operation, comfort and safety.

I am very impressed with where Nissan, and especially the Maxima, stands in this survey. It matches with my feelings about my Maxima. But, in view of some of the posts I have seen on maxima.org, I am a little surprised with how very outstanding our Maxima was rated.

Great find, darrick04.

I agree with Tek. Also I don't think that there is a car out there that does not have some minor problems. It feels good that we were on top of Inifinty.

Thanks alot, I am majoring in marketing in college and I will hopefully earn a spot as a marketing director/executive in the Nissan corporation... I try really hard to find things that would make a consumer more interested in a product and since I LOVE LOVE LOVE nothing but Nissan (and Infiniti) I thought this would be a great post on the .org. but yeah I do appreciate the comments everyone has left... It makes me really believe that the true owners are seemingly very satisfied and after all, if you aren't satisfied with a product you typically won't buy it again, right? I find this information absolutely nothing but positive for Nissan and it shows that when they sent the 200 engineers down from Japan to investigate Titan/Armada/Quest issues, they found the problem, addressed them and now people have more confidence and are overall very pleased with their new vehicle.. 7 of Nissan's vehicles made this list. I think that is pretty impressive!! Ok talk to you guys later...
