some info on headlights..

Well, ifound out how much the bulbs for the 9012 headlights are. there 100 dollars each. which if you ask me is retarded. however i used a 9006 bulb with ease. so if onyone needs a new bulb that is non-hid then you can use the 9006 it plugs right in and the only modifacation that has to be made is on the three prongs that hold the bulb in. one does not fit so you just have to shave it.

Which bulb did u end up getting...i know 9006, but what brand and do you have any pics???

wow, the HID is actually cheaper?


well the bulbs are, I know the ballasts increase the $. For that much for a bulb, you might as do the HID conversion: better lighting and save $ down the road.

i went with a phillips high visibility. it has a light blue tint to it. i also replaced the fogs and turn lights also.

I got in touch with Candlepower company, and they told me they have HIR2 9012, its $34.99 per bulb. its almost indetical as the OEM.. not sure anyone will be interested.. but maybe we can get a group by going...

$100 for a bulb , gas prices seem pretty reasonable right now...
