Wow, thanks for the link. I was unaware they had anything for use yet. I remember someone saying they were working on something. If they are on the market definately go with tein, they should be wayyy better than the D2s or Ksports. They have always been one of the top Coilovers.

you think I'll still have them if I had all those problems....lol...
nah man, not REAL STIFF, but firm... real nice ride on the highway, since the springs are way smaller bumpy roads may get bouncy..
I have yet to bottom out..
pro: nice even drop, and you are able to adjust your ride..
noises: install them right and you won't get any noise..
people: 5 people inside with 22 inch rims and I don't rub..
do you have pics of the install?
WHat did you need to have them installed from the stock suspension?
any complications or special mods that need to be done?
I had my car with EIbachs, got noise so I yanked them.
SO now you can understand my hesitation.
WHen you mean bouncy....... does that depend on how low you go??
I like the firm ride but i dunno about bouncy
Thanks
Jon

nothing special for the install, it comes with everything... the rears you will need the top of the stock strut plate to install them, but thats it..
the bounce only comes in when you hit bump after bump.. remember that the springs are way smaller and firmer, so its going to rebound alot quicker than the stock spring.. is not that it bounces just like that, its that when you hit a bump it will go up and down fast as hell, it don't stay floating around like a stock suspension.. it hits the bump, up down, thats it.

just an FYI...... the coils are not whats hard, is the tires you ride on.. I took my 22's off and with my coils its just firm, not hard at all.. with the rims, you just feel and hear more road noice and the bumps get alittle loud on ya..
but the coils and stock rubber is a nice ride... you start to compromise that when you go bigger wheels with smaller rubber..

how bout ground control?? anybody know if a set is even available? and if so... hows the product??
My friend with a Lexus GS400 just told me that the Tein Basics suck. He has the Tein HA's now and loves them. It looks like thats all that they offer only the basics for the Maxima. Maybe if enough of us get together we can get them to make a better set. I dont mind spending an extra $400-500 if the ride is going to be 10 times better.
