I don't either so instead of worring about age I continue to mod cars, go to car shows, collect baseball cards, comics, medal cars, coins, stamps, figurines, ride roller coasters, fish, crab, diving, biking, computer gaming, watching silly movies and run the track at Maryland International Speedway. Age is a number but it does not determine your lifestyle, You Do.

There are more SE's than SL's in every age bracket -- because Nissan sells more SE's than SL's. Does not prove a thing. I hope each of us bought what we wanted. I might have bought an SL if I could have gotten the 6-speed. Couldn't get it, so did not even consider an SL.
I agree with SlammerBC that the stats so far show no real connection between age and SE/SL preference. I am somewhat surprised by this.
But some of the young family drivers may have a spouse who likes 'comfy', or a baby to consider, while some of the 'oldies' may feel the SE makes them come across as younger.
Whatever, the stats are interesting.

Well, I can't argue with chernmax. He has more posts, is a contributing member, and has a (ta-da!) buyer-seller rating. He trumps me at every turn. My SL might hang with chernmax on the straightaway, but his SE would definitely toast my SL on curvy roads.
Hence, I hereby amend my earlier post to reflect that older drivers often choose the SE on an 'esse quam videri' basis (to BE rather than to SEEM).

30 (31 in the spring)
picked up an '04 SE... had an SE '98 until last week (now the wife has is)
Although keep in mind what people buy is also often a factor of what's available. (for all of use who buy used). When I was looking there was a lot of SE's available, very few SLs
For me the toughest thing was finding a manual transmission. I would have liked to find something higher miles to save some cash, but ended up getting the '04SE with just under 23,000 because it was a manual tranny...

There are more 31-40 in SE's than SL's...
48 in years, 21 at heart.
