yea it not a smokers package i do not have that it just when i charge my cell phone i can not use my fm radio it only the middle cigarette ligher (power outlet) i have radar dector pluged in to side and i do not get stadic out of that one but like i was saying the dealer is telling meit cuz my windows are tinted has anyone ever heard about that wiht the windoew being tinted can effect the radio

ithink there is something wrong wiht mine cuz i do not think it cuz of the tint i got 20% all around i got a nissan rep coming to my dealer to lookover my car for a few things how dark are your windows i got an 836 and and 860

It dosent matter how dark they are... Its the product itself. Most films on the market these days are metal based so they dont turn purple over time. Hence, the metal weakens the antennas signal and the nextal does the same.. Either dont charge the phone in route or live with the noise for a minute

Anything that utilizes a radio frequency to transmit and receive can and will have cross interference if the two frequencies use the same spectrum or one has more power and essentially dilutes the other signal. This is call CONTENTION, very popular with the US military for jamming. The transmitting signal from your Nextel may also be penetrating and causing noise interferance on you car stereo electronic circuit board, this can be verifed by interferance from a phone call that causes static or disruption when playing the radio or listening to a CD.
