Some New Mods

Well just completed adding some new mods this weekend. I changed all the interior lights to LED's, I installed the brushed aluminum dash kit, I think it makes the dash look a lot better compared to the factory plastic look. I also installed drilled/slotted rotors. Let me know what you think.

Nice dash kit. It really goes well with the interior. All I can say about the brakes is WOW.

Rockin dude, if you really want to set the interior off, consider getting a new E-Brake leather boot, check out RedLineGoods.com for details, just a recommendation.

Thanks all, Kenny my father and I installed the rotors, he is a hot rod fanatic and a former mechanic in the military. I bought the rotors from a company that my father has done business with, they are of the best quality, a bit pricey. I paid around $400. for them. The pads are ceramic they come from EBC they are called red stuff. Specifically made for performance sedans and street races, very low dust.

Where did you buy the pads? Are you still using the OEM capliers?

Thanks
Warren

I bought them at perfectbrakes.com and yes still using the factory calipers. I just can't justify spending $1,800 for a big brake kit.

Really not much to it, all you have to do is remove the two bolts that hold the caliper on and remove it. The rotor comes right off unless it is stuck on like mine were, they took a little persuading with a hammer and pry bar. I only did the fronts because my father had a pervious appointment we are going to do the rears this Saturday. The whole job took about an hour and a half. The most time consuming part is removing the calipers and changing the brake pads.

I'm getting ready to buy an underdrive pulley and catback exhaust. In the spring I might lower it and tint the windows. I'm still up in the air about buying a resonated or not exhaust.

Looks good. Very similar to the dash kit. Didn't use all the pieces that you used, but it still looks good. Nice work. Rotors are something i need to invest in after the winter.
