Leather Interior (Cover)

I am looking into places that offer leather interior. Katzskins are a great place, and i have seen their leather. but, i wanted to ask anyof you guys that might have done this yourself on your 6th Gen. And where you got yours from. there was a group deal going on, but i dont think its there anymore. Plus i have the gray/toupe interior and was wondering if anyone has pics to help me out.

thanks

Katzkin is a great company.....we install all there stuff for my dealerships here in Charleston....I'll tell you it's not an easy install....you'll need hogrings and hogring pliers, listing rods, a professional steamer, wrenches, sockets, and whole lot of sweat and patience.....also with a dash of swearing.....if you plan on doing yourself, good luck....I'd leave it to the "professionals" myself.....trust me I don't do the installs myself, that's why I have employees to do it for me.....I just know how to do it and what it takes....

Well SNAP, i wish i could be near you, you seem to be able to hook me up.. lol.. I am deffinately NOT doing this myself. and i do know itll cost me some pretty big Smackers to get it installed by an installer. I will be looking at a few places in the Arlington area that i used to know did SHOW JOB LIKE interiors, but were pretty reasonable on the prices, unless you go aligator.. Ahh NO. Maybe if i wanted to move to the Bayou, and didnt care about catagory 4/5 Hurricanes. I guess thats one way of getting that dead aligator back in the water.. oh the irony..

I just wanted to know what the best type of leather to use, that is going to last.. I have seen Katzskins up close and felt it, and it is really sound material, but again i dont know everything, so i have to ask otehrs their expierences. So any others out there please make some suggestions.. Appreciated it.. Thanks.

btw install30 i noticed you were 31, so am i.. july 30th B-day..

I purchased a leather seat kit from Leather Seat.com and had it installed last Thursday. Per the company this kit approximates the factory leather/vinyl and I am well satisfied with it Also installed butt warmers at the same time. Factory look without having to buy items I did not want.
