It's been a while 6geners, I just got through trading in my 04 radiant ember 6spd for an 06 smoke 6spd.

I Loved that color but just got tired of the attention, my brother told me I'm going to regret it but hey I'll let someone else enjoy it for 50k more miles.

Deep inside I do miss it but as a Police Officer it's just too much.

The salesman told me that it wouldn't last a day on the lot because so many people have been asking about a Radiant Ember.

Back again starting out with 10 miles.

Just as well, because the radiant ember 6 speed will be the only 6th gen Maxima to become a valuable collector's item, and you don't want the responsibility of caring for that beauty for another twenty to thirty years waiting for the official 'classic' title to be bestowed.

It would've been cheaper just to paint it... Then you could've gone for a color that NO ONE has....

 

So true but for some its easier to finance then come out of pocket for a full color change plus jambs?

Other than being 2 yrs old w/ a few miles and attention-getting color, why did you trade it in now and not wait for '07?

 

Initially went to Nissan to get my wife an Armada and came out with two 06 vehicles.

I guess it was a matter of time because I had been telling my wife I wanted to get rid of Ember and I must have talked it up.

The dealership offered me a 06 nothing down and a bunch of others that were hard to turn down.

Ember will be on display at Gwinnett Place Nissan tommorrow, they told me it won't last long, which I pretty much know.

When you love something so much, sometimes you have to let it go.

 

Its a love it or hate it color...not for me, radient ember that is. I wish they did a cherry red like the 4th gen was...that would have been cool
