Ebay SS exhaust received and installed!

Got it today and installed, took about an hour, looks good and sounds ricey only when full throttle. For the money I thought it was a good deal. I was suprised at how heavy the stock system was and how crimped the one piece of exhaust is. I did hear/notice the Injen CAI with the new exhaust.

Looks like you cut off some bumper above that right muffler. I wish my greddys sat up a lil higher.

It takes away from the classy look of the Max but everyone has their preference.

Im not a fan of the sewer system look but to each his own. Anything to get rid of that ridiculous crimp in the exhaust.

I am in agreement with all of you that do not like the sewer pipe tips but other than that the price/quality are excellent. I would recommend this as an alternative to the more expensive exhausts out there.

its a way to restrict the power of this car, from the box they don't want you to take the car to its limits..

Exhaust Tip inlet OD

Would you be so kind as to measure the outside diameter of the inlet to your exhaust tip?(The smaller necked down area between the tip and the muffler).

I was thinking Borla has a couple of options to replace the "sewer pipe". For this price it might be worth changing it.

Thank you for any assistance!

A picture is worth a million words

Great pics, info, and especially the crimped piece. Weren't you afraid of loosing some low end torque by buying ebay stuff ?? Or is that only when buying inexpensive headers ? Was looking at some of the dyno charts from members and many lost low end torque. Or is it because torque is moved forward on graph?

From what I have read it does not matter what exhaust you buy, low end grunt will suffer. Looking at the exhaust on ebay vs Greddy I think it is the exact same thing sans the logo engraved and $200. I really can't say if it hurt/helped because I already had a CAI and a Y pipe before the cat back. From the limited driving I have done since the cat back install the engine seems to rev easier so I am not sure if I lost any low end grunt. I may dyno it soon just to see where I am. Keep in mind the car only has 1600 miles on it, hasn't even had it's first oil change!

The look will grow on you. I've had my Greddy's for 2.5 yrs and have been so happy with them that I don't even like the look of the stock setup anymore...

sometime the only different in products is the signature (hence the extra $200)
