Quick question about the grill (Redline), i just looked back to the pics you posted and noticed the grill was painted to match.. I bought the grill powder coated black, the question i have is that how does the grille come? does it come totally assembled? and if it does how are we going to get them painted without messing up the mesh??? just a concern...

Looks AWESOME!

I'm loving the powdercoat on the grill - that is my next mod, still like my billet but it's time for a change

If you ordered it powder coated, the Mesh will be black, you will have to get a bodyshop to spray the frame to match your ride. Also, yes, the grill is one piece fully assembled.

Jsmith and I are on the same team, he has West Coast, I'm East all centered around RedLineMax.

As for Rims, considering 20's but don't want the extra weight yet. Other than the ground effects, I'm keeping my ride as a go fast for now...

looks hot man.just the license plate gets in the way. also some lower profile tires like 245/40/18 would be better then those huge 45 sidewalls that you have now. and the new grill will look hot. quick question about the fogs. does the bumper come with the fogs? or you put any fogs in you want? or only one type of fogs? confused on that matter. but hey looks better then the fugly oem bumper

Since you guys have connection with Redline, what are the chances of a chin lip being developed. I want a lip not Stillen and I dont want to go the way of the bumper and full body kit. Could you guys tell me who i would need to contact to get that done.

BY the way....both you guys are what other 6th gen owners look to for future mods..you guys keep setting the bar higher and higher. Props to the both of you.

thanks for clearing that up for me bro... I will have to get it painted white then,.. ARG!! That will be difficult, and more expensive now that i know that it comes fully assembled... cost more becasue they will have to tape off, and prep for paint... Oh, well.. Still a good decision...now just waiting on it to come in... Its been close to 2 weeks now since i ordered... i will call Corey for sure next week....

mask/tape it off yourself then take it in to the painter...I masked/taped Chris's grill off when we painted it last week and I'm no pro painter or body guy....it takes all but 20 minutes to do it carefully using masking tape and paper. you will spend more money if it came disassembled because then you'd have to have the mesh installed as well as the frame being painted.

I did the same, easy work (and I painted mine in my garage because it's the first proto and I'm getting the final version which I will have professionally painted)

yeah i understand, but itll still cost 70-120 most likely for painting it.. I have goteen many things painted for a really good price, and this will just cost me more to do... So after 220.-- or so for the grille plus 70-100 for prep and paint, it comes out around 290-320 for the grille Complete... I am not argueing here, and i would still buy it today, but i was thinking it would be just powdercoated black and thats it, then install.. Oh, wellll..... I dont know what i was thinking... ARG!!!!!!!!!!!

man i wish i could bro.... lol.. here in TX there is not a real true gathering for the 6th gens... if it wasnt for my love for this car, i would have sold it by now.. i just am used to bigger GTG's and the fan base, plus the abundance of aftermarket accessories.. Which is why i am 'humping the pooch' when it comes to REDLINEMAX!!! Hey REDLINE, ill be your sponser here in TX for you.. I will be going to the annual TEXAS HEAT WAVE, which i entered last year with my truck... This is ONE of the LARGEST EVENTS IN THE WORLD!! Seriously guys/gals.. it is deffinately worth the trip. go here ( http://www.heatwaveinc.com/ ) for details on the events. And guys, i am telling you you WILL NOT be dissapointed if you come this summer... It was the best truck/car/bike show i had ever been too.. its a whole weekend. Friday-Sunday.. Located in Pfluegerville<--msp..or near Austin TX... Go to some of the pic sites for the Custom Sounds Heat Wave, that was in July.. WARNING!!! Some of these sites are a bit explicit, so be warned for some of the pics are not JOB FRIENDLY, so do some research at home... You can see some of my pics on there, and i was on the Rockford Fosgate website too for that event, in one of their vans..

Sorry about getting off subject.... I just trying to tell Redline how much i appreciate them stepping up for us, and providing us will TRUE QUALITY PRODUCTS!!!! Now where's my DAMN GRILLE!!! LOL... Take Care, and again CHERN, LOOKING BADAZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

Thanks for the car feedback. The backgound is at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Lexington Park, MD. The base primary function is to conduct research, test and development for all US Navy Combat aircraft, Unmanned Arial vehicles, Anti Surface/Submarine Warfare helicopters and the next generation Presidential helo program.

Units include:
Naval Air Systems Command
Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division
Naval Test Wing Atlantic
Naval Force Aircraft Test Squadron
Naval Strike Aircraft Test Squadron
Rotary Wing Aircraft Test Squadron
Air Test & Evaluation Squadron One (VX-1)
Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Four (VQ-4)
Fleet Composite Squadron Six (VC-6 DET)
United States Naval Test Pilot School (TPS)

It's a great area to live and work in support of weapons platforms and delivery systems for the next generation war fighter, not to mention a daily front row seat to hear the sound of freedom...

Just some of the local players...

F-35 Joint Strike Fighter

F/A 18 E/F Super Hornet

The E-2C Hawkeye is the Navy's all-weather, carrier-based tactical warning and control system aircraft.

The E-6 Mercury is a communications relay and strategic airborne command post aircraft. This platform provides survivable, reliable, and endurable airborne command, control, and communications between the National Command Authority (NCA) and U.S. strategic and non-strategic forces. Two squadrons, the "Ironmen" of VQ-3 and the "Shadows" of VQ-4 deploy more than 20 aircrews from Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma to meet these requirements.

A front license plate is a state law in MD. Tires? maybe not, the car handles great and has a smooth ride. Low profile tires trasfer to much vibration and shock into a vehicle and make it easier to bend rims. I may move uo to 20's but I like the side height. The Halo fogs come seperate, I liked Jsmith so I asked RedMax to get me the same. Thanks again for the feedack...

Actually, since I'm getting a powder coated grill I may do black, or gunmetal like the Altima SE-R look. No Red. Don't want to go super overboard with Red, I want parts and colors to blend and augment each other.
