So I have a shimmy...Warranty???

So I determined my car has a slight shimmy and my closest Nissan dealer said it's not under warranty at this point, even though my car only has 35km (21K miles) and it's under 3 years.

Is this true or should I take it else where??

Thanks,

Ming

I'd say they're full of cr@p! especially without even LOOKING at it. I had to talk to the Service Manager to get my shimmy persued a little further. Try that route. If it becomes pulling teeth, your a persistent person, and that nissan dealer is the only one close to your house, then try calling Nissan Consumer Affairs.

If it's the true "Shimmy" it'll have symptoms similar in TSB-04085 or 04084, posted as a sticky on this board.

Read the sticky:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=371534

It details what you need to do when you take your car to the dealer for service.
