there is way to much to read so i will just comment what i personally know.

with my enlarged tq member mounting holes i had an entire non- brembo 350 brakes setup on my car. ( calipers/ rotors/ tq member) and it fit fine. i would have to assume that the brembo stuff should fit any 4th gen-6th gen max/alti if they have the correct tq member bolt size.

if i recall the only issue we had on my car was that the rotors were to tall by about 1mm or so but that wasnt to bad.

If the rotors were too tall, then how did they fit? You cut them? got pics?

I cant imagine how the rotors could be off since a stock 350z set up fits out cars, so why wouldnt the Brembos fit? I even have an entire rear 350z caliper and rotor on the rear of my car and it was a bolt on.

Xcept he used the G35 rotors on the front which are 12.8" right out of the box and the maxima uses 12.6" stock rotors.

So if u slap on OEM size maxima rotors you are laughing

Enjoy.

I thought someone tried the G calipers and it didn't fit on the 6th gen? 6th gens use the same sized 12.6" rotors as the 05+ G/Z non brembos. But I read the offsets were diff. So the problem wasn't the rotor size but rotor hat offsets?

Well dunno. Racing brake lists teh same 12.6" rotor p/n for the 6th gen and non-brembo G35. Looking better.

I didnt try brembo but 06 350z front dual piston on my max. The caliper itself bolted on but once tightend it hit the rotor.

Did you fix it or remove the caliper?

Well that's bad news as the brembos are a direct swap to the Z and G non-brembos.

Can you just get some washers and space them out a bit then?

I think the problem is that the caliper has to be relocated UP from the caliper, not to the side of it. Spacers wont work in this case for that reason. A machined bracket would be the best solution, but kind of expensive, and hard to find unless it could be made yourself or u can have someone competent make it. The easiest solution appears to be shaving the rotor by 1/8".

Spacers wouldnt work as the diameter of the rotor for whatever reason was too big. I thought the rotors were 12.6" just as ours were. I tried some washers and every time I went to tighten the caliper down it kept hitting the rotor.

You would have to bolt it up and check pad/rotor seating. My BBK is for a 350Z and it had to be spaced 4.6mm up to clear the rotor. The problem is the spindle on the Z sits higher than on the Max. As pointed out earlier the stock system can't be spaced up, any aftermarket system can be though(to my knowledge).

Well the rotor fits inside the caliper. As soon as I tightened the caliper you couldnt turn the rotor. So it was hitting the inside of the caliper.

Brembos on a Altima

From what I saw, the only reason I had to cut down the rotors is because on an altima, the holt for the Galiper bolt are 1/8" closer to the hub.

It is very much possible that it will be a direct bolt on the Maxima since you have bigger rotor than us.

Have you been able to find a rotor that you don't have to cut down because I have a set of brembos but I don't have OEM brembo rotors. The rotors are like $150 each. I already have the front set on but i need to change rotors.
