NY Auto Show - ORG Observers?
NY Auto Show - ORG Observers?
We need some of you New York ORG'ers who are going to the Auto Show to pay really good attention to the '07 Maxima ... and take your cameras!!!
In addition to some good pix of the exterior, we're really interested in the rumored upgrades to the interior. So any shots you can get of the insides will be really appreciated.
Of course, quality pictures would be great, but if nothing else get some camera phone pix. We're dyin' out here waiting to see what they've done!
Thanks!

I'll be heading there like I do every year. Last year when I went and questioned the next years maxima they didn't know anything so I'm not sure if it'll even be there. But of course if it is I'll take plenty of pictures.
i read somewhere that the Altima was going to be there and what they thought was going to be the 6.5 or 7th gen maxima so i'm 99.9% sure it'll be there, i think i saw that it was going to be there in some edmunds article.

It will be great to be able to see pics of the 6.5 Maxima without all the tape and junk the test drivers use to foil/spoil the spy photos. Only eight more days!
I realize we can use our imagination to 'blank out' the poor job of camouflage we saw in the spy shots and know what the car looks like, but there is nothing quite like seeing the vehicle in all its unmasked beauty.
I like the front of the '07 (as shown in the spy shots) better than the '04 -'06, but will probably keep my perfect '04 until spring of '08 and go with the 7th gen '09 Maxima.

Boy, it's amazing how tight Nissan is keeping this. I just got back from the Dallas Auto Show, where I talked to a couple of Nissan corporate employees who travel with the shows. Neither one knew the details of the changes to the Max ... and I don't think they were just telling me that. They honestly don't know what Nissan plans to change, saying they'd find out along with the rest of the world on the 14th at New York.
Like us, all they know is the interior is said to be "pretty substantially revised". Whatever that means. They said the exterior changes are all but unnoticeable according to what they've seen, but no interior shots - or even rumors of changes - had been revealed to them.
Ditto for the ew Altima. I have to say the new Sentra looks pretty good, though! (For a Sentra.
