i think for what has been discussed before about this...it really doesnt matter, you just need the right gauge cable, good terminals and thats pretty much it...look around in past threads, this was discussed before some healthy information there... good luck...

Homemade FTW! You get to choose the quality of the wiring and can make it in whatever configuration you like. I bought 30ft, which was too much and made a 12 wire kit.

Grounding your negative battery terminal to the chassis with a 1/0AWG lead will work equally as well...

You should just have a wire (#4 or bigger) from the negative terminal to the motor, chassis ans transmission. You can go from the battery to each or chain them, whatever you think works better for you...

I got mine from active tuning for $49 shipped. The wire is 4 gauge, 99.9% oxygen free and comes in 4 different colors (Red/Black/Silver/Blue). If you want name brand with the same quality, go with Stillen and pay just over $100 for the same thing and you will pay for shipping.

No, they just have enough wires to make the wired minimally compliant to perform what the car needs to do as to raise their profit margin. Just a matter of economics, nothing more...

well, i work (at a second job more for training and experience) as an installer and tuner at a custom auto shop we do complete fiberglass interiors and other crazy stuff, so i think i will just make my own grounding kit. i will try and get a before and after dyno with the voltage regulator and grounding kit.

listen to metal max, just a single 0 gauge connection to the chasis/frame will suffice. Other then that its all market hoopla and bullsh*t. Your still completing the circuit just with more free flow, and it'll cost about 3 bucks.

I got black from active tuning and it looks pretty good. I will post pics. I am sure you can make a do-it-your-self kit (as mentioned above) with no problems for a lot less because its only wires and connectors but I didn't have the time and it was reasonable.

Make sure you melt the solder into the ends of the kit then use the shrink tubing to seal them around the ends. You'll have a stupid awesome kit!!! ;-)
