I am with you J. No in my seats aswell. My wife hates that I don't let her or the kids eat in my car. Hey J did you get the 7" or 8"?

How much did the monitors cost me? 194 shipped and 50 bucks to change the leather on them and add my piping like the rest of the car.

The monitors are innvotek but the LCD's are panisonics. I took it apart to see. only down side to mine is there is no earphone jack on them so I have to find a way to run wireless ones.

J yours has earphone jacks? Mine does not. Hey were you able to make it so that the monitors only come on when you push the power button? Mine come on everytime I start the car. Then I have to push the power button to turn them off.

Yes, mine have headphone jacks and av out...
Yeah they come on aoutmatically as well... wasn't sure about it at first but now id doesn't bother me. They just show the NAV most the time...
You would need to re-wire them off a remote power switch. You just have to remember if they are on or off when you leave your car.

yes you will have to get a dvd player. I have an eclipse Avn 5500 soon to be a Avn 6600. It plays dvd and has nav and sat and all the other bells and whishles. J has the Pioneer version with a flip out face.

You need GEC's LED upgrade and the info screen moved to the bottom....

My install was free because I do all that stuff my self. I have been doing it for years. Only thing I have no experience is fiberglass but I am going to try that to for my sub enclosure. I would asume a shop would charge about 120 bucks for rca cables and labor.

I don't mind the orange so much. I don't dislike it enough to spend 600 bucks to have diff lights. plus with the tvs on it is bright enough as it is at night.
