Well, Friday when I got to work I saw that my company was painting a curb in the parking lot. The painter had parked his van in such a way as to occupy the 4 spots next to the curb that he ws painting, so I thought that he wouldn't possibley paint any other curbs while people had their cards parked near them... and they usually notify people about these kind of thigns ahead of time. Well, as usual, I grab my parking spot on the end of the row and head inside to start the day... when I come out at lunch I noticed that ALL the previously black curbs are now yellow!

Luckily that day I didn't get as close to the curb as I usually do. When I got to my car, I checked for bright yellow paint from the curb painter. I found 2 little spots, and they both flaked right off (I guess having waxed it a couple of weeks ago really helped). I also found a large drip on my tire (about 2mm from the edge of my rim) that was a bit harder to get off, but it finally did come off. So I ran home during lunch and sprayed off my car with the hose - I didn't see any other spots, so I hope I didn't miss any. I haven't had time to wash it since the incident, but do you think I should take it through a spray washer?

At least I don't look like that silver 6th gen with the yellow stripes.

Why couldn't they have waited for the weekend to do this, or atleast warn people ahead of time like they usually do for parking lot maintenance?!?!?!

Spray washer? - Only if you see more yellow spots. Sounds like you got off pretty easy when the paint flicked off for you. A nice coat of wax will do wonders!

Why yes, actually. Both the paint protectant and the ESP wax (I forget the numbers). Great stuff!

And yes, I was lucky Ramberg. I haven't heard of anyone else having issues with the paint, but I'm not sure everyone else is as **** about their cars as some of us here.

very lucky I would say.

Most people don't care about their cars at all... like the JA who parks right next to you or uses their bumpers to let them know when they have parallel parked!
