well for the intake unless ur flying over puddles that totally submerge ur intake in water, u should be fine. the area where it gets the air from is kinda hidden from direct rain or little splashes and the filter should stop them. just drive slow in the rain and be cautious and smart, and u should be fine.

For my 96 Max, I've driven over 200k miles in NYC with a cold air intake
and had no problems. Most of the time it is just splashing water
that you will go through in the rain. Unless the water level is
up to your bumper, you should be fine.
