warranty and fujita CAI

i have 8,000 miles and had the car for 9 months
will the fujita cold air intake cancel my warranty?
when does my warranty end if ne one can tell me that would be great for a 05 maxima how many miles/months?

i was thinking if ne thing happens and i have to go to the dealership b4 my warranty ends i would just put back my old intake. think that will work? and has ne one tried this?

any info on this would be greatly appreciated

A CAI will not void your warrenty, I've had my car in for both warrenty and recall work and it's never been a problem. Bottom line, the dealer has to prove your CAI was responsible for damage in order for it to void your warrenty. IMO 99% of the time it will never be the case. Don't loose any sleep, you should be good to go...

any part you install does not void anything....

BUT

IF you install say Springs and your struts blow... how are you going to prove that your non-oem spec springs did not cause the strut failure?

so

any modification that causes a part failure VOIDS that failed part's warranty.

CAI- if you encounter engine failure and they documented you had a CAI or you bring in the car for repair with the CAI, you will have a fight on your hands to prove them wrong and receive warranty work.
