Disabling Navigation Safety...

I posted this in the Audio/Video section, however, I feel like I could get more of an answer here, considering that navigation is only on the 6th generation Maximas.

Not sure there is a fix to my question, but it would be fantastic if there were. I have a 2004 Max SL with navigation. I hate the fact that you cannot enter in a destination unless you are at a dead stop. I can understand this if you were driving while doing it, but in my case, there is uaually someone in the passenger seat entering it in. Is there a way to disable this, where you can enter in information at any time?

Also, if anyone knows where to get updated road CD's it would be greatly apprectiated.

Thanks!!

OK, I remember reading about this so I did a quick search and I *think* I found the thread I remember reading here on the Org:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=457538

However, the link from there to FreshAlloy doesn't seem to work any longer. Upon searching over there, I did find this one though (although it's mainly for an M35/M45 - it should give you a starting point since you can search over there):

http://forums.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=129278

Good luck, and be safe with this... it's there for a reason.
